Down Under Building Services Pty Ltd commenced trading in September 1995 and to date is still solely owned and managed by Peter Selkrig.
The business began with two full time employees. In 1999 staff levels have changed to six full-time employees; four sub-contractors; two casual employees; two apprentices; and a part-time administrative assistant.
The core activities of Down Under Building Services Pty Ltd can be broken down into two companies:
Down Under Pier Replacement Pty Ltd, and
Down Under Earthmoving & Civil Constructions
We are continuously seeking means to diversify our products and services. Down Under Pier Replacement Pty Ltd is the main arm of our business and produces 90% of our income. Barely twelve months old Down Under Earthmoving & Civil Constructions is producing 10% of our total income, and is growing at a startling pace.
